Blyth Town Barca Under-12 Girls have secured a new sponsor.

C-CLEAR Window Cleaning, based in Blyth, have stepped forward and have provided the team with a brand new training strip.

The girls are enjoying a successful first season together in the Pinpoint Recruitment Northumberland Girls Football League and play AE Phoenix on Saturday at Benfield in the final league game of the season.

The owner of C-CLEAR, Gordon Scott, said that he was proud to help out a local football team in sponsoring their training strips.

“It is fantastic to see girls getting involved in sport and football and to support a local team to keep fit and healthy is very rewarding for them.

“If I can help maintain them playing football or sport of any kind, then the sponsorship is very worthwhile.”

The team’s progress can be followed on their website – www.clubwebsite.co.uk/blythtownbarca – which contains details of all their matches so far, reports and future fixtures along with other features.

Next season, the girls move up to nine-a-side from the current seven-player format and will be looking for players to attend trials at the end of the season. Contact details for the coaches are also on the website.”
