New Hartley Juniors scored 18 goals in two games to make it nine unbeaten.
In a league game away to Darlington RA, Kurtis Dodds put them ahead after only three minutes.
By half-time it was 3-0 as leading scorer Ryan McKie and Lews Xiberas added to the tally.
After the break New Hartley added a further four goals, with McKie scoring a second half hat-trick while Ben Sampson also got his name on the scoresheet.
Forty-eight hours later, Durham City felt the full force of New Hartley's attacking intent as they put 11 past the home side.
Andy Knott opened the scoring, and through some great football they were 5-0 up by the interval, courtesy of a Ryan McKie brace and strikes from Paddy Gibbon and Ben Sampson.
New Hartley continued the onslaught after the break with Ben Shaw making it 6-0 before McKie struck four times, taking his personal tally to six and Hartley's total to ten.
A last minute Brandon Fearns-Kennedy penalty completed the scoring.
