BLYTH Rangers Deportivo Under-14s recorded a double over Corbridge following a comfortable 5-2 home victory.
Tom Fulthorpe had the first chance but his header hit the bar and bounced to safety.
The opening goal came in the 13th minute when the visiting keeper parried a long range effort from Shane Clough and David Dunworth was on hand to score from close range.
Two goals in two minutes just after the half hour gave Blyth some breathing space.
Alex Cockburn threw the ball to Clough who played in Reece Halliday and he coolly beat the keeper to make it 2-0.
Then Jack Bell released Dunworth on the right flank and his cross deceived the keeper to make it three.
Corbridge pulled one back just before half-time.
In the second half, a flowing move saw Neil Nelson sweep in a fourth before Corbridge pulled another back.
Halliday scored the fifth Rangers goal following a through ball from Clough.
Callum Robinson was named Rangers’ man of the match.
