ONCE again the weather affected the vast majority of fixtures with only seven games surviving.

They took full advantage of an off day for South Beach to record a 4-1 win. Adrian Watson scored for Beach.

In the George Davison Cup, The Eagle progressed to the next round when they defeated Tynemouth Gunner 8-1. Goals for the Eagle came from Daniel Hislop (3), Steven Rylatt (2), Jeff Fuller, Andrew Haigh and Bill Olechnowicz.

The Alan Davison Cup saw Burradon and New Fordley closer to another final when they defeated Monkseaton Hunting Lodge 6-2. Goals for Burradon came from Jordon Watson (2), Ian Lee, Paul Willery, Michael Burns and Kieron Parsons.

The Albert were unlucky to go down by the only goal of the game at home against Ashington Mortimer, scored by Martin Humble.

The premier division saw Ashington RAOB record another win, defeating a spirited Blyth Comrades side 2-0 thanks to two goals from Daniel Branley.

Newbiggin and Whitley Bay Cibos were involved in a nine-goal thriller. In the end, Newbiggin edged it 5-4 courtesy of goals from Tony Messenger (2), Ashley Smith, Darren Burn and Colin McLellend.
