BLYTH Spartans will start life in the EvoStick League premier division away to Witton Albion.

The relegated Croft Park outfit will be on their travels to the outskirts of Northwich, south west of Manchester, on Saturday, August 18.

The first home game of the new league season follows on the Tuesday evening, August 21, when South Yorkshire-based Stocksbridge Park Steels are the visitors.

Hednesford Town are at Croft Park the following Saturday, August 25, before Spartans are on their travels again on the Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, to Whitby Town.

The trip down the coast to east Yorkshire will see manager Tommy Cassidy return to a former club.
