Blyth Town made it three wins out of three in the Northern Alliance premier division on Saturday.
After an opening day victory the previous weekend, Town won 2-0 at Wallington in midweek and followed that up with a 4-2 home win over Whitley Bay A on Saturday.
Against Wallington, the reigning champions secured the three points through a first half strike from Michael Fenwick and a debut goal for 20-year-old Zak Atkinson, with the man of the match award going to rampaging winger Daniel Hislop
Against Whitley Bay A, a double from Atkinson, one of which came after only eight seconds, and further strikes from Michael Fenwick and a Jay Ritchie penalty was enough to see off the visitors.
After a midweek visit to Seaton Delaval on Wednesday, Blyth travel to Red House Farm on Saturday.
