Ashington Woodhorn Ladies went equal top of the Northumberland Ladies’ League with Blyth Town after a one-sided 7-0 win at Newcastle University on Sunday.
Megan Tighe opened the scoring as she stabbed home on 11 minutes from a cross by Caldow.
Two minutes later, Laura Fairley struck an unstoppable shot from 30 yards for number two, then on 19 minutes it was three as Fenwick picked the ball up in her own half, flew down the left wing and fired past the home keeper.
The visitors defence had a quiet day as Ashington totally dominated and Jobson found Caldow who rounded the keeper to make it four on 53 minutes.
It was one-way traffic but missed chances kept the score down until the 78th minute when Sarah Taylor slotted home following a good through ball, then Caldow and Fenwick added late goals to complete the rout.
