Adam McTaggart struck an unbeaten century from just 40 balls to help Bomarsund second team to an eight-wicket win over Corbridge to ease their relegation worries.
After electing to field first, the seconds restricted the visitors to 140-8 from 36 overs as all five bowlers managed to pick up at least a wicket each.
Chris Sewell led the scoring with a half century, which included ten boundaries, and Marcus Sewell managed to score 21, but the rest of the order only scored 33 runs between them.
Youngster Adam Gardner picked up two wickets for 21 runs from his five overs, Andy Alexander two for three from his four and David Seccombe, Dan Robinson and Jayden Sparrow one wicket apiece.
In their reply, Bomar were unfazed as McTaggart took the attack to the bowlers, striking an incredible 20 boundaries and two sixes during his outstanding knock.
That led the hosts to victory as they chased the target down inside 14 overs, leaving opener Harry Oliver with depleted figures of 1-70 from a seven-over spell.
The seconds now sit 78 points above the relegation zone, and four points ahead of Corbridge with six games remaining in the Northumberland Cricket League division two.
