Netball teams from schools in south east Northumberland gathered for a special tournament.
The Under-13 netball tournament for schools in the Blyth and Bedlington School Sport Partnership took place at Guide Post Middle School.
The competition was the level two qualifying round for the Northumberland School Games, where the winner will represent the area to play other teams from across Northumberland.
The girls were joined by Josie Pointon, the newly appointed netball development officer for Northumberland, who umpired.
Five schools in the partnership participated in the tournament, which was played in great spirits.
The girls enjoyed playing in four matches each throughout the course of the afternoon, with Bede Academy winning all their matches and will be the area representatives at the School Games in June.
Guide Post were runners-up while the other schools who took part were The Blyth Academy and Meadowdale Academy.
