Big wins in pool league

THE Blyth Valley Pool Association Super League sponsored by Goschen Street Garage & Union Private Hire saw some big wins along with some close battles.

Sports Club A remained unbeaten following a 10-2 win over Annitsford Irish, while Bedlington Station Club climb to second after beating Newsham Side Club by the same margin.

Comrades A also came out 10-2 winners against the Brockwell Seam to move up to fifth in the table.

The Percy Arms also had a big win, beating Comrades B 9-3, but they slip to third in the table.

The remaining two fixtures were a lot closer with The Seahorse edging their match against Cramlington Village Club B 7-5 and Blyth Sports B won a sudden death decider to beat Cramlington Village A.
