Blyth U12s see off Tynedale twice in a day

IN a hastily arranged fixture, Blyth RFC Under-12s faced two games against Tynedale with the fixtures taking place at the rugby pitches near the beach as the home field was unplayable.

In a hard fought first game Blyth finally overcame a well organised Tynedale side after being all square one try each, with Blyth eventually winning by three tries to one.

The Blyth scores came from Conall Martin with two and Tom Marshall, with the Tynedale try scored by Jamie Chawdry.

Marshall received the man of the match award.

In an equally hard fought second match Blyth finally won four tries to two, with two tries each for Marshall and Ethan Hall.

The Tynedale scores came from Rubin Oliver and Ewan Morell.

The man of the match was Elliott Moore.
