Blyth Running Club are holding their 55th Blyth Sands race on Sunday, December 7.
The race is unique in the north east for the handicapping system it uses.
Runners and spectators should be aware that this years’ race HQ will be the Dave Stephens building at the Blyth Links car park.
The race will start on the beach in front of the building, run towards Blyth harbour, turn and head towards Seaton Sluice harbour and return to the Dave Stephens building finishing on the beach, an approximate distance of five miles.
The first runners will be off at 11am. Entry forms are available at Blyth Sports Centre, online at www.blythrunningclub.org.uk although entries will be taken on the day at the Dave Stephens building.
