Twenty-two teams from the Blyth and Bedlington School Sport Partnership played their Level 2 School Games hockey competitions at Bede Academy.
Two competitions took place at the same time, with ten teams from Year 5 and 12 teams from Year 6.
Both tournaments were divided into two leagues, with the runners-up and winners playing each other in semi-finals. Following that, the overall top two teams played each other in the finals.
The Year 5 final between Bede South and Croftway Primary saw Bede South win in a closely fought, competitive match.
The Year 6 final also saw Bede represented, this time against Station Primary, with Bede again coming out on top after an even closer game which went in to extra time.
Bede Academy will represent the area at the School Games finals this month.
Other schools taking part were Morpeth Road, Meadowdale, St Bedes, New Delaval, Stead Lane, Horton Grange, Malvins Close, Newsham, Choppington and St Wilfrids.
