The Northumberland Men’s County bowls teams will play Northamptonshire for the Adams Trophy next weekend.
It is one of the national team championships of the English Bowling Federation.
It will be the third time in five years Northumberland have been in the final after they qualified by winning the northern section of the competition.
The final will be played at the Suncastle greens in Skegness, which is famed for its unique setting and atmosphere, on Sunday, August 23.
Opponents Northamptonshire have qualified for the first time since 1959.
Northumberland have a team with a mix of past national champions, county champions and exciting youngsters who will be looking to bring the trophy back to the north east.
