WITH only four games left to play in the Inaugural BVPA Superleague sponsored by Goschen Street Garage & Union Private Hire, the Sports Club A maintained a 22-point advantage over second placed Bedlington Station.

Sports Club A beat the Percy Arms 9-3 while Bedlington Station overcame Sports Club B by the same scoreline.

Bedlington still have a game in hand on the league leaders.

The Comrades Club B beat the Annitsford Irish 8-4 to overtake their A team and move into fourth.

The result of the season saw Seahorse beat the Comrades Club A 10-2.

In an all Cramlington derby, Cramlington Village B got back to winning ways beating Brockwell 8-4.

There was nearly another shock result in the last game with the Side Club and Cramlington Village A going to a sudden death play-off for the bonus point, with the deciding frame going to Side Club which still leaves Cramlington Village A without a league win.

Fortunately they have fared better in the Knockout Cup round robin where they have won two of their four games so far.

New teams are currently being invited to join the league for the 2012-13 season, and for further information check out BVPA on Facebook or e-mail
