There was a keenly contested race between training partners Iain Fenwick and Brian Shiel, which Fenwick just edged in 54th place with Shiel only just a minute behind in 61st.
Ryan Shiel completed Tri Northumberland’s standard distance contingent in 79th place.
In the sprint distance, Iain Katz finished in a fine 45th place in 1:22.33, despite having a chain issue on the run in to Morpeth.
Super veteran Andy Gowens finished 90th with Ant Thornton completing Tri Northumberland’s sprint distance line up in 151st place.
