Ken wins O75 Masters Squash
A Newbiggin man has enjoyed success at the National Masters Squash Championships for 2020, which were held in Nottingham.
Ken Johnson competed in the Over 75 category, in which there were ten competitors.and after a first round bye he won his first two matches 3-1 and 3-0, setting up a final clash with Mike Clemson from Yorkshire.
In the final, which was a closely contested five set affair, Ken won 3-2 (11-4, 8-11, 11-8, 3-11, 11-8) after 29 minutes.
