They soon found themselves trailing after conceding two early tries and when the visitors ran the length of the field for a third try it was obvious they were in for a tough afternoon.

The home side scored a consolation try through Grey, converted by Ramsay, but Sunderland were dominant and kept the scoreboard ticking over and another full length of the field try completed their scoring.

There are no games this weekend due to the World Cup Final and the next game is away to local rivals Ashington on November 9, 2.15pm KO.
