Liam Besford lead the bowling attack by taking four wickets, but Bomarsund first team were heavily beaten in their game against Blagdon Park on Saturday.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first, and at the halfway point it was looking like it may have been the wrong choice as they were bowled out for 165 inside 46 overs.
Matthew Senior made a half century and Sam Eyres 27, but Besford picked up figures of 4-35 from his ten overs and claimed a run out.
Chris Mollon (2-42), Gary Mordey (2-46) and David Seccombe (1-37) all picked up wickets along with the seamer.
In reply, Jonathan Scope made 25 before he was bowled by Angus Johnson as three batsmen made double figures as Bomarsund were bowled out for 96 inside 35 overs.
Tom Lakey and Paul Johnson picked up figures of 4-24 and 4-35 respectively during an innings that never really built momentum.
The hosts picked up maximum bowling points, but their sixth defeat of the season leaves them second bottom of the Northumberland Cricket League premier division.
They now face a season changing game on Saturday, June 6, as Clara Vale are the visitors to the Welfare in what will be a make-or-break game between the bottom two sides.
