A folk-tastic family fun day is being held in Blyth this weekend to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
The Rotary Club of Blyth is hosting Folk at the Football Club (FAT FC) at Croft Park on Saturday.
The event will feature ten groups – Northumberland Fayre, Kentucky Cow Tippers, Billy Mitchell (ex Lindisfarne), Newcastle Pipe Band, who will be parading into the ground, Cramlington Folk Club, Seahorse Buskers, Newbiggin Blues Club, Vieux Carre’ Jazzmen, Clark/Shaw Project and Seaton Sluice Ukelele Band.
There will be three stages for the performers, with entertainment running from 1pm to 6pm, together with a funfair, stalls, licensed bar, ice cream and food.
Gates open at noon. The evening will finish with a ceilidh in the club house from 7pm to 11pm, and all proceeds go to the Royal British Legion.
