There is a sprinkling of debuts next week when the St George’s Community Players stage their autumn production.
Heading the list for the Morpeth troupe is David Keily, who is charged with the task of directing what is a play within a play, while Josh Beasley treads the boards for the first time with the players, and Bridget Rowbotham appears in her first full play for the group.
The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle is to be performed by the Farndale Ladies Townswomen’s Guild, who are once again hoping to stage a faultless performance. The play, a comedy by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr, runs at St George’s Church Hall from Thursday, November 21, to Saturday, November 23.
Tickets, £6 and £5, are available from Morpeth Chantry Tourist Information Centre.
