Jungle fun at Manor Walks shopping centre.

Visitors can learn all about wild animals, including baby chimpanzees and ferocious lions, as they go on a trail around the centre to spot the different wildlife.

Children will be given an explorer handbook and map to study natural habitats and facts, while there will be free crafts, including finding out their wilderness nickname and making binoculars.

The main event takes place from Monday, August 12, until Sunday, August 18, between 11am and 3pm, with all explorers that complete the trail receiving an official Manor Walks certificate to reward their efforts.

Victoria Malloy, marketing officer at Manor Walks Shopping Centre, said: “We are really excited to go wild this summer with free family fun. We’re encouraging children to get active whilst learning all about the jungle on an interactive journey around the centre.

“There will be a few selfie opportunities too.

“We’d encourage families to spend the day and take full advantage of all our fantastic shopping, dining and leisure facilities.

“It’s a great place to combine activities for the whole family and we hope everyone will enjoy our exciting programme of events this summer.”

In addition to this event, there will also be lots of free, exciting family activities during the summer break, with games, creative crafts and all-round summer fun throughout August.
