Summer rooftop sessions at Newcastle store
A seasonal food and live music event is being held at an iconic store.
Fenwick Newcastle is holding Rooftop Summer Sessions at its Roof Thirty Nine, which is now open for online bookings.
The alfresco parties will take place across three evenings from Thursday 8 to Saturday, July 10, celebrating talented local musicians, exceptional seasonal food, and an unrivalled view over the city skyline.
Guests can look forward to an evening of live music from Sunderland’s Vandebilt on July 8, Newcastle’s very own Northern Funker’s Smoove & Turrellon Friday and rounding off with Newcastle singer songwriter Cortney Dixon on Saturday.
Tickets are priced at £50 per person, which includes a welcome drink on arrival, followed by a four-course meal.
Guests will arrive at Roof Thirty Nine for 6.30pm, with drinks and dinner served from 6.30pm until 8pm.
Support acts will start at 8pm, with the main acts starting at 8.30pm. The event will end around 9.15pm.
Attendees will be able to enjoy the live performances accompanied by a choice of reception cocktail and a four-course menu including a selection of grilled dishes such as grilled peach with cured ham followed by grilled sea trout with new potatoes, samphire and cucumber beurre blanc. For dessert there is a chocolate tart with honeycomb, burnt English cream, or a selection of English cheese with a fig and pickled walnut chutney.
