Man injured after bike hits wall in Northumberland

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital yesterday after his bike hit a wall.

The 32-year-old man suffered arm and chest injuries when his bike left the road and hit the wall near Otterburn at around 12.30pm.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called and, after treatment by the doctor and paramedic team, he was flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 13 minutes.

He arrived in a stable condition.
