Alnwick Sainsbury's raises over £13,000 for animal rescue charity
The Alnwick branch of Sainsbury’s has raised over £13,000 for its charity of the year.
The supermarket has raised £13,444.85 for Alexa’s Animals.
Gerry Storey, store manager, said: “We would like to thank our customers for helping to raise £13,444.85 for Alexa’s Animals dog rescue. We really enjoyed welcoming all of the volunteers into the store over the year and we hope our support will really make a difference to the charities.”
