Recalling names and memories
These two pictures have been published in the Gazette over the last few weeks and now we have most of the names for them.
Julie Whitney contacted us about the top picture of Boulmer WI. It shows her, Sue Shepherd, Pat Hall, Annie Holland, May Procter, Marj Wood and Peggy Rough. Although she couldn’t remember the name of one of the women standing at the back. Dougie Hedley recognised some in the bottom picture of the Far East prisoners of war. He named Clarice Hedley, Jack Hardy, Mr Stanley, Jim Miller and Gordon Oliver.
