A 'severe' incident is causing traffic delays on the A19 in Northumberland

The northbound road is currently closed between the Moor Farm roundabout and the B1319 Dudley Lane junction on the A19.

The incident has involved a vehicle fire and an oil spillage.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
