Binnie’s first podium
Local rally driver Michael Binnie claimed his first podium place at the weekend.
The racer, based at Cornhill near Berwick, achieved his first ever podium place by taking third spot on Saturday’s Armstrong Galloway Hills Rally.
Along with co-driver Claire Mole from Duns they piloted their Mitsubishi Evo 9 around 45 competitive miles based in the forest of Dumfries and Galloway.
Last month the pair won the Class 9 Championship and co-drivers’ title..
